graduation

***Updated 4/2/2025***

The big day will be here before we know it! Graduation for the 2025 Warsaw High School graduating class is Thursday, May 22nd at 7pm. Weather permitting, graduation will be held on the football field.

To ensure all seniors stay informed, we have compiled a list of important details, tasks and dates below. Additional information & dates will be added once available.

Attendance: Seniors must have at least 90% attendance to walk at graduation. This is a cumulative percentage for the entire 4-years of high school. Please see the high school office with any questions.

Important Meeting Thursday, April 17th @ 10:30am: We would like to ask that all seniors prioritize being at school for this meeting (even if you are normally gone for MO Flex). There will be a lot of information shared that you will need about the end of senior year. This is for senior (students) only, not parents.

Send a Personalized Message to Your Graduating Senior With a Yearbook Ad: Whatever your message is your child will cherish it. There are two ways to order your senior yearbook ad - you design online (deadline is May 3rd) or have our staff design it for you (deadline is May 22nd). Learn more about the yearbook ad opportunity.

Baby Pictures: Seniors need to bring a baby photo to Mrs. Siegel by April 10th or their photo will not be included. This photo will be shared on the large screen during graduation. A picture of a picture will not work. The photo needs to be the original copy.

Senior Input: Please remind your senior to complete the 3 forms that were sent to their school email on April 2nd. Only seniors can fill out these forms, not a parent or guardian. The forms for parent/guardian names and graduation input need to be complete by April 18th at 3:30pm. The form for graduation guest list needs to be completed by May 9th.

Senior Recognition in The Wildcat & Yearbook: Seniors need to complete the form that was sent to their school email so that they can be acknowledged in The Wildcat newspaper and Ozark Echoes yearbook. The staff is asking that this be done ASAP, but the absolute final deadline is Friday, May 2nd.

Project Graduation: Senior parents have been hard at work planning a fun event for seniors to attend after graduation. A bus will take graduates to Main Event in Kansas City and return back to school early Friday morning, 5/23. Students need to sign-up in the high school office no later than Tuesday, April 1st.

Caps & Gowns: Caps & gowns will be distributed to seniors on graduation day (no sooner!). The caps are for the graduates to keep - the gowns are a rental and must be returned to Mrs. Seigel after graduation.

Graduation Tickets: If graduation is held outside, each student will have 20 tickets to give to family & friends of their choice. If it is moved inside, students will have a smaller amount of tickets to disperse. A google form will be shared with seniors closer to graduation to fill out. Once that form is filled out, it is the senior’s responsibility to distribute the tickets.
