Today, Superintendent Mr. Gemes and Assistant Superintendent Mrs. Deckard spent the day proudly representing our district alongside the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) to advocate for the needs of rural schools.
They met with both of our state representatives and our state senator, ensuring that our voices are heard on critical education issues. They also sat through the House vote on open enrollment and listened to the Senate discussion on school protection officers—both key topics that impact our students, teachers, and communities.
We appreciate their dedication to making sure rural schools like ours have the support we need to thrive! 💚📚 #WildcatExcellence #AdvocatingForEducation #RuralSchoolsMatter #MASA #MissouriEducation

Please help us extend a huge congratulations to three Warsaw High School students who were among 10 finalists for the Southwest Electric Cooperative's Youth Tour/CYCLE competition:
🎉Trinity Sandstrom
🎉Brayden Henderson
🎉Dillan Ellison
After an extensive selection process across 11 of the counties we serve, these students finished in the top 10 of 29 applicants!
Junior Brayden Henderson was selected for the CYCLE (Cooperative Youth Conference and Leadership Experience), which is a four-day leadership conference held annually in Jefferson City. It brings in some of the best and brightest young leaders from across Missouri. CYCLE provides students with first-hand experience in what it is like to be involved in the legislative process, the cooperative business model, and how to be a better leader. More than anything these students have the time of their lives and create friendships that last a lifetime.
Following the cooperative principle of concern for community, Southwest Electric Cooperative is proud to sponsor two local students each year to go to Youth Tour and two local students to CYCLE. To learn more about these programs visit swec.coop/youth-programs.

Mr. Boise's HS Integrated Math class has been learning about structural integrity of bridges. To test their knowledge, students did a hands-on experiment to see how much weight their homemade structure would hold. Brayden Schibi and Anna Zimmerman's popsicle bride held 205 lbs before falling! 🌉🤯 #WildcatExcellence
