Archery competition is currently being held at John Boise Middle School!


Mrs. Winters' 6th grade class engineering and solving a light maze using only mirrors using what they have learned about reflection and light wave properties.





Mrs. Winters' 8th graders ran a bird beak simulation learning about variations in traits for survival. Each student chose a beak and had to "eat" enough food to survive.

Mrs. Parrack’s 7th graders did a Great Wall escape room for their ancient China unit!





Mrs. Winters' 8th grade science students ended their body systems unit by dissecting perch specimens. Our goal was to get comfortable using the tools and explore how body systems are connected and how they interact with one another.





We were informed of a situation that there might be a student with a gun in a backpack. Our SOR responded to the South School and searched the student. There is no gun at the school. An investigation into the situation continues. All students and staff are safe!

Due to the forecasted weather for tonight, 1/24, Wrestling @ Lone Jack and Archery @ Cole Camp have been canceled.
Teams will still be having practice immediately after school.


Tonight's JBMS Boys Basketball games @ El Dorado will still be played. The game will goes as follows: B game at 530 followed by A team. There is no C game. Bus will leave at 3:30pm.
