MAP-testing-dates-2025

From Tuesday, April 29th through Friday, May 16th, all 3rd-5th grade students at North & South Elementary will participate in MAP (Missouri Assessment Program) testing.

If a student misses a testing day, make-up testing is required, which may result in missing out on fun activities. Rewards parties will take place for students who receive 95% or higher on their MAP Effort Score. This score is based on several factors including attendance, positive attitudes, staying seated/raising hands, staying on task and quiet during testing, and being actively engaged.

MAP testing measures students’ academic progress in the areas of math, reading, language arts & science. The results help guide lesson planning & personalize student learning.

As part of the Warsaw R-IX Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP) for 2023-2026, we have a SMART goal to increase statewide assessment scores by 2% annually. By ensuring your student is present during MAP testing, you are doing your part to help us reach this goal, along with others outlined in the CSIP plan.

Help your student(s) test their best! We invite you to visit this MAP Resource Guide on the Department of Elementary & Second Education (DESE) website.
