Student Spotlight: Logan Schockmann

Logan Schockmann was our Student Spotlight during the January Board of Education Meeting.  Logan is a senior at Warsaw High School and is the son of Michael and Deanna Schockmann. 

We always start each year by telling our student body how important it is to get involved and active throughout their four years at WHS. You will obviously hear how Logan did this over the last four years.

In Logan's 4 years at Warsaw High School, Logan has been a part of:

Cross Country

-         4yr letterman and was named all-conference in 2021.

Archery

-         State qualifier every year since 7th grade

-         Logan also took 3rd place overall in the Lincoln Bullseye Tournament

Track

-         3 year letterman and had a first place finish in the 4x800 relay at Skyline

Band

-         3 year letterman

-         Clarinet section leader from 2019 to 2021 and was Drum Major from 2021-2022

-         Logan won the National Marching Band Award in 2022

-         He has also been awarded Honorable mention honor band, all district band, and has received multiple state ratings for his clarinet solo in 2021 and 2022.

Madrigal

-         Logan has been a 4 year letterman

-         He has been section leader since his sophomore year

-         In 2021 and 2022 he was named WHS Outstanding Vocalist and also received the Student Leader Award.

-         In 2022 Logan received the WorldStrides Maestro Award and was also named all district choir in 2021 and 2022.

-         In 2022 and 2023 Logan was named all state choir and was named as one of the top 4 basses in the west central district.

-         He qualified for the state music festival his sophomore and junior year and received multiple state vocal ratings in 2021 and 2022.

NHS

-         Logan has been a member of the NHS program his Junior and Senior year

Other recognitions

-         He has received the academic excellence award all four years of his high school career.

-         Logan has been nominated student of the month both his sophomore and junior years

-         He was the Boys State representative for WHS in 2022

-         And most recently he was voted Courtwarming King last Friday night.

Logan's future plans are to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia (MIZ-ZOU)  to acquire a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies. Logan Schockmann is an exceptional student and is a great representative for our student body.  Logan is an extremely positive leader.
