Cleanest School in the District (1st quarter)
Sorry for the late news article about our “Cleanest School in the District” award for the 1st quarter. Congratulations to the South School for winning the award. Thank you to the students, teachers, administrators, and other staff for helping with the award. Big Thank you and Congrats to Cynthia Adams and Luanne Fliss for their dedication and time in winning the "Cleanest School in the District.”
Cynthia, Luanne, and Students celebrating the win!
Here were the overall scores:
South School 3.03
North School 3.03
High School 3.01
Middle School 2.93
Tie breaker went to South School. The tie breaker used was dust on shelves in the hallway and vents. Everyone’s floors were great and received a .25 bonus. Again, overall the district buildings are looking great.
Special shoutout to North School for the most improved from last year. Our goal is to have every school at the 3.0 or above on the score. We have 3 of the 4 schools achieving that goal, but it is important that we continue to maintain it.
Tim Snider, our maintenance director, said "I applaud the staff as a whole and the young adults for their efforts on keeping our schools clean."
Once again, we are very proud of our staff and the dedication they show to our school district to keep it clean! Keep up the great work.
