Certified Staff Member for February 2024: Jami Bishop
Jami Bishop has been selected as the Certified Staff Member of the Month for February 2023. She was nominated by multiple individuals and selected by the administrative team.

“Ms. Bishop has an enormous role to play in our school climate. She offers SEL lessons to our classes based on situations she sees and hears from the teachers that need to be addressed in our classrooms. She is always willing to help with students who just need an outlet to express their frustrations as well as offering excellent advice to teachers about how to best help students. We have a high number of cases that involve trauma and she is a very skilled resource for the students and staff. I could not imagine doing my job without her. ”
“She has an extremely demanding job and handles it so well. She is so helpful and approachable not only for students but also staff. We are extremely fortunate to have her on our team. Her way with children is truly remarkable.”
“Jami Bishop goes above and beyond to help meet a multitude of student needs. Mrs. Bishop has purchased student clothes, blankets, space heaters, etc out of her own pocket. Mrs. Bishop volunteered to ride an ambulance with a student when they had to be transported. Overall she is a huge asset to aid with students' mental health, behaviors, and overall well-being of our students.”
