Student Spotlight: Raylee Thomas
Raylee Thomas was our Student Spotlight during the April Board of Education Meeting. Raylee is a 4th grade student at South School, and is the daughter of Shelby Lindsay and William Gray.
Raylee is very deserving of this great honor. When our South School staff discussed who to nominate, Brookelynn’s name was mentioned repeatedly. Here are some things teachers said about her when nominating her:
“Raylee is always positive and friendly. She was pivotal as a student advocate for the reintroduction of the recycling program at South Elementary.”
“Raylee was one of the 4th-grade 1st millionaire readers; she is always attentive in class, completes her homework on time, and is always willing to help other students or staff with anything.”
“Raylee is the epitome of what we would love our students to be like. She is ALWAYS cheerful, helpful, smiling, and eager to help others. She is polite and lights up the room with her personality and eagerness to be at school.”
“Raylee volunteers to help out during her free time, even during recess, with things like recycling and giving up her recess time. She makes the day go well when she greets you each morning with her glowing smile.”
Raylee Thomas is worthy of this honor for these and many other qualities.
Raylee Thomas is a living example of what makes South Elementary and the Warsaw R-IX School District a place for excellence.
The Warsaw R-IX School District is very honored to have you as one of our students!
