Amanda Newell has been selected as the Classified Staff Member of the Month for October 2024. She was nominated by multiple individuals and selected by the administrative team.

“She is AMAZING at helping students in my classroom! She comes in to offer my students breaks at scheduled times and also at as needed times. She also is a really great listener! When I speak to her about a student, she is full of great ideas and very kind to the students as well!”
“Amanda has been very helpful preparing visuals for behavior students. She is always willing to help out and be flexible. This would be a harder year without her helping our behavior students be successful. ”
“Ms. Amanda has done an incredible job serving the needs of our students at South School as the Title 1 para interventionist. Amanda daily gives scheduled breaks to 12 high needs students and has contributed so much to their learning and academic/ behavioral success. On a day to day basis Amanda helps 20 to 40 students with breaks, pep talks, and overall support. Amanda has allowed our school to run smoothly and has helped eliminate countless hours of lost learning from behavioral disruptions.”
