Student Spotlight: Drake Murrell
Drake Murrell is a senior at Warsaw High School. He is currently ranked 1st in his class and has a cumulative GPA of 4.197. After HS, Drake plans to attend either the Naval or Air Force Academy.

He is a multiple sport all state athlete (Football and Wrestling), which is very rare.

Drake is an amazing young man whom I have known since he was a toddler. He has ALWAYS had such a kind demeanor. Now that I have him in class, I have witnessed that he has matured into a very hardworking, respectable student, or should I say scholar. He is a top student here at Warsaw High School. He works hard to not only obtain amazing grades, but even more to learn. He has a passion for knowledge! He is not in class to just get the A; he wants to understand the concepts and the why. I have thoroughly enjoyed being Drake's teacher in mathematics. Drake and his classmates challenge me to be a better teacher. I also love that Drake is respectful to anyone he encounters. Drake is an incredible athlete and shows sportsmanship throughout the game and/or meet. It is fun to watch him compete, because he has a true passion for competition. He is a beast on the football field and on the wrestling mat. I look forward to seeing Drake's future. He can do whatever he chooses to do in life.
