Student Spotlight: Anna Siegel
Anna Siegel is a senior at WHS and is currently ranked #1 in her class.
Her activities include: FBLA, Student council, math club, NHS, Prom committee, robotics, archery and golf.
Anna has been recognized as student of the month twice, geometry student of the year, academic excellence every year, and Top calculus, trig, bio, chemistry, and advanced English three student. Anna has also received various math club awards and was awarded the Questbridge National College Prep Award.
Her volunteer experience includes: Adopt-a-highway with NHS, Lions club events, church mission trips and turkey suppers, and the charity tea party.
Last summer Anna attended the Mini Med Camp at Mizzou which is a simplified and abbreviated version of med school.
She also attended an introduction to engineering camp at Missouri S&T, where she was involved in lessons and small group sessions over engineering, aerospace, and civil, chemical and explosive engineering.
Anna is obviously a fantastic student, and is also a great representative for our student body. She is always smiling and always supportive of her fellow classmates. She is a great role model and is a great representative for what student involvement looks like.
