“Katy on the Go”
School Based Dental Program
Your school district and Katy Trail Community Health are excited to announce they have joined together to offer a School Based Dental Program. This program will provide your child an opportunity to receive dental services at school during normal school hours. Katy Trail owns and operates a mobile dental unit which we proudly call “Katy on the Go”. Katy trail will be bringing state of the art dental care services to students in the most comfortable, convenient, and effective way possible.
We offer comprehensive dental care. Our services will include cleanings, X-rays, Examinations, filling, some crowns and extractions, and root canals. There may be some procedures that cannot be completed on the mobile unit and it may be necessary to refer those patients to either our Sedalia or Warsaw clinic.
We accept all Missouri Medicaid and most commercial dental insurance; if your student is uninsured, we will work with your family to obtain coverage. Missouri Medicaid programs included are MoHealthNet, MissouriCare, Aetna Better Health, and Home State Health Plan. There is no cost or financial requirement to the parent if the student is covered by Missouri Medicaid. IF the child is uninsured, Katy Trail staff will work with the parent /guardian to get them approved for Missouri Medicaid. If a parent/guardian chooses not to pursue Missouri Medicaid, our sliding fee schedule will apply if eligible.
Students must have a consent form signed by their parent/guardian and turned in to the school nurse before being seen at “Katy on the Go ''. Attached is the new patient packet, which needs to be returned to the school nurse no later than March 20,2023. The program at your school is scheduled for April 12,2023 to April 21, 2023.
If there are any questions about our services; the sliding fee schedule, or financial arrangement, please contact Robin Ray-Harris at (660)826-4774 ext. 1124, or email us at sbmd@katyhealth.org
Please use the link below to fill out the new patient forms online.

Missourians benefit every day from the dedicated energies and countless hours devoted by a group of more than 3,600 men and women from communities across the state. These public servants are elected by local constituents and do not receive compensation for their tireless efforts. They are the local school board members of Missouri.
During the month of March, we honor and celebrate our school board members and ask you to recognize the important contributions of these men and women and focus attention on the vital role these public officials play in the education of our children. Thank you to the members of the Warsaw R-IX School Board of Education!
