Welcome Back Breakfast with all district staff!
During our back to school workshops, we will be doing an active shooter training/exercise at the John Boise Middle School. There will be law enforcement and first responders at school. This is a drill and no emergency at the High School/Middle School facility. We will send update throughout the day.
Thank you to Subway and Hawthorn Bank for sponsoring our new teacher and mentor lunch! We had a great time at the American Legion and enjoyed the prizes.

The Warsaw R-IX School District is excited to welcome Ally (Wenberg) Logan to the Wildcat Family! Ally will be re- joining the South Elementary team this year as an Early Childhood teacher.
Ally: "I am a Warsaw High School graduate and I am so grateful to be beginning my teaching career where I grew up. I currently live in Warsaw with my husband, Chris and our two fur babies, Hank and Houston. This is my second year at South Elementary. Last year I was a paraprofessional in the ECSE program. I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I'm so excited for this opportunity! Go Wildcats!"

The Warsaw R-IX School District is excited to welcome back Ashley Wynn! Ashley will be an Early Childhood Special Education teacher this fall.
Ashley says, "I am excited to return to South Elementary as an ECSE teacher! I have spent the last 5 years teaching Kindergarten in Calhoun and am entering my 7th year of teaching. I live in Warsaw with my two daughters, Alexis (12) and Eva (2), and their dad, Jesse. We are also welcoming a baby boy this fall! I can't wait for this school year!"

The Warsaw R-IX School District is excited to welcome Kayla Red wing to the Wildcat family! Kayla will be teaching Special Education at North Elementary this fall. Kayla says, " I am excited to start my first year of teaching! I will be a special education teacher at North Elementary. I recently graduated with my degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have spent 12 years working with students and adults with disabilities. My fiancé, John Steenburgen, and I have 2 children that attend North Elementary School. As Warsaw graduates ourselves, we take pride in our children growing up here. We have an extension to our family as we are a contract home that provides care for special needs adults and children through an agency, Restoring Hope. Our family enjoys spending time together and we love watching our children pursue their hobbies! I can't wait to build relationships with my students and their families. Go Wildcats!"

The Warsaw R-IX School District is excited to welcome Kyla Roberts to the Wildcat Family! Mrs. Roberts will be joining the South Elementary teaching staff this fall.
Mrs. Roberts says, "this is my 24th year in education. I’m very excited to be joining the Warsaw South Team. I have been married for 28 years and we have been blessed with with 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, singing, reading and horseback riding."

The Warsaw R-IX School District is excited to welcome Mr. Robert Adams to the Wildcat family! Mr. Adams will be joining the John Boise Middle School teaching staff as a math instructor. Mr. Adams is eager to get started teaching math in Warsaw, and commented the following: "Hello, my name is Mr. Robert Adams. I grew up in a small town near Hannibal, MO. I went to Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO. While there, I played baseball. I have been married to my wife, Megan, for fifteen years, whom I met at CMU. We were married in Okinawa, Japan, where her brother was stationed in the Air Force. We have Eli, who is 13(Cocker Spaniel). We enjoy going on vacations and to St. Louis and Springfield Cardinal Baseball games. We also like to go to Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, and Silver Dollar City. I also enjoy hunting, fishing and camping. This year will be my 20th year of teaching Middle School age students. I am looking forward to helping your student expand and learn the necessary state required information. I hope they are ready to learn and ready for changes. Yes, change is often difficult, but I promise to make this an easy transition from their previous teachers. I am looking forward to a great 2022-2023 school year as a Wildcat!"
